Hi!
I’m Ashleigh. I grew up in a one-light town in Central Illinois. After graduating from the University of Illinois, I moved to Chicago for law school. My husband, Andrew, and I married in a picturesque ceremony in Santorini, Greece in 2011. We have two beautiful, kind daughters. Mabel was born in 2013, and Poppy was born in 2015. I have worked in the travel industry for over a decade, and am currently an in-house attorney for an airline.
I created Champagne at the Fai
as a creative outlet to share tips and thoughts about family, travel, decorating and organization along with some of things I like right now (“Cheers”)… and some things I definitely do not (“Spills”).I hope you enjoy this collection of thoughts!

The duality of me
Growing up as an only child, I divided my time between pushing my dogs in strollers and adventures outside in the fields near my house. I‘ve always loved country music, crafting and coupons. And, each Summer I would look forward to the ninety-degree heat, cheese on a stick and and livestock barns at the Illinois State Fair.
On the other hand, I played classical piano and danced ballet from a young age and counted the days until my family’s annual trip to the big city (St. Louis, Missouri) for fashionable school clothes. And, over the years, I have come to love a metropolitan pace, elegant cocktails and fresh sushi.
Both of these worlds represent me. And, to be honest, my ideal day would include strolling the State Fair with a glass of champagne in my hand… and, thus, the duality of me.
