This cocktail will transport you to the window seat, gazing at the sky at dusk. It’s crisp with a hint of floral, and easy to prepare.
Get ready
- Cocktail shaker
- Cocktail strainer
- 2 oz gin
- ½ oz maraschino liqueur
- ¼ oz creme de violette
- ¾ oz lemon juice
Pick the gin of your choice for the base of this cocktail. As we are recently home from our Weekend getaway to Michigan, I decided to use Field Gin from our visit to Journeyman Distillery. Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur and Rothman & Winter Creme de Violette are easy to find at a large liquor store like Binny’s if they aren’t currently in your bar.
Get mixing
- Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker ¾ full of ice.
- Shake until frost forms on the outside of the shaker.
- Strain contents of the shaker into the glass.
- Garnish the cocktail with a lemon twist.
