Our neighborhood was spooky weeks before Halloween. And, not just with the lone skeleton or single string of orange lights like past years. House by house, we noticed families really committing to their decorations. This year, there were skeleton families, spider armies and light shows.
We’re all searching for the silver lining nowadays, and it seems that holiday decorating is fitting the bill for many families. It’s serving as a distraction from the pandemic, the election, the division in our country.
Next up, Christmas decorations. Since we’re at home all day, why not ratchet up the fa-la-la and immerse ourselves in cheer?
