Pull out the copper mugs from your wedding registry. This refreshing cocktail is just the ticket for those of us who need some stress relief during the Presidential debates and election coverage. Get in the spirit by casting in some color for your political party of choice.
Get ready
- Copper mug
- 2 oz vodka (or more depending on your day)
- Juice from 3 key limes
- Ginger beer
- Democrat blueberries (or Republican pomegranate seeds if you must)
Similar to the Aviation, I decided to use Field Vodka from our visit to Journeyman Distillery.
Get mixing
- Add vodka, lime juice and ginger beer to a copper mug ½ full of ice.
- Stir.
- Garnish the cocktail with blueberries and a lime wheel.
